1) :-Tenant farmer is that person who farms on land which he owned by a land owners. The lender own the land while he let's the tenant farmer use this land. Tenant farmer pay fix amount to land owner for using this land.

A sharecropper is also tenant farmer. But he share his crop to his land owner as per agreement between them for rental of land to him.

The tenant farmer is more expose to risk than the sharecropper because the sharecropper share the risk with landowners.
