Nursing history provides a way to improve quality practices in nursing care. Nursing Leaders struggled a lot in establishing nursing organizations and to develop standards for nursing practice. They also involved in health care reform and policy changes. Thus today's nurse must understand the political advocacy are made by nursing leaders to protect nurses safety standards.
