D-dimer
Specimen collection:
Take blue top tubes, need 1ml aliquot plasma. venipuncture must be done without injury. Avoid contaminating from heparin. It should be heparin free and should not hemolysed. Centrifuge the citrated tube within 60minutes.use a plastic pipette and remove 1ml of plasma and transfer to the plastic aliquot tube and label it properly. To find the information to collect the sample we can go through the D-Dimer blood collection page or website.
Rheumatoid Factor(RA) samples should be sent to microbiology department.
