Answer: The present status of nursing in the United States includes as there are shortage of nurses in the healthcare setting. This causes increased demand of the nurses. The excessive burn out among healthcare professionals affects the quality of care that is being provided to the patients.

Nursing profession has improved a lot and is still enhancing in its own field. The things still same is the care provided to the patients. Nurses have always indulge them in providing quality of care to the patients. At present the use of advanced technology in the hethcare organization reduced the workload on the healthcare professionals. It has reduced the burn out among nurses as by improving the quality of care. The implementation of EHR system in the healthcare organization has decreases the work pressure. This enables to save all the medical information regarding the medical history of the patient at one place. In future there will be more improvement in the healthcare status.

The function of the state board of nursing is a regulatory as well as licencing body which regulates the set of standard of nursing. Whereas, Professional organization is an organization where matched professionals used to work.
