This drug lowers or decrease the confusion, hallucinations as well as aggressive behavior of the patient. So, it should be given to the patients suffering from dementia.
Resperidone is given to children with ADHD to treat their Abruptive behavior. It has been approved by the FDA in the year 2003 as it found to be effective in controlling the patient's tantrums and bipolar mood.
