Trauma is caused by distressing experiences in which a person suffered Trauma is of 3 types. ☺ Acute trauma - It is caused by single incident a, Chronic trauma -It is caused due to prolonged abuse. 1-3 Complexe trauma - It is caused due to exposure of multiple traumatic events In hospitals these 3 types of trauma are - seen Acute trauma → This caused due to a car accident, witnessing violence or undergoing natural disasters Symptoms :- Bad dreams, flashbacks, stantle reactions etc. Dagnosis :- Asking questions about the traumatic event and symptoms Treatment in Psychiatric evaluation, medications such as antianxiety medicine, anti depressants and therapy: Therapy may prevent this type of trauma

I Complex trauma This is mostly seen in childrens This is caused by prolonged exposure to traumatic events which will effect the emotional development of a child. causes:- Abuse, maltreatment, neglect, physical and sexual abuse, witnessing domestic | violence regularly. symptoms - Nightmares, avoids certain situations, trust issues, Diagnosis ..
