Every patient has right to know about the procedure that has to perform on him and thereafter informed consent should be signed by patient and her relatives in case of ageism and minor

In above scenario mrs smith is old age lady but she is able to take decision. She can permit for procedure but if she wants to involve her daughter in procedure or consent then physician should allow in decision making

Mrs smith has constitutional right to know briefly about procedure.she can accept or reject the procedure

In above scenario,it is ethical issue.it is not a part of ageism
