1) W BC differential shows the percentage of each type of WBC present in our blood.

If an adult patient had parasitic infection,an increase in eosinophil count can be noticed.

The normal eosinophil count is 1%-4% or less than 500 eosinophil cells per microliter of blood in adults.During parasitic infection,the count goes above 500 eosinophil cells per microliter of blood,which is known as Eosinophilia.

• Mild eosinophilia(500-1500 eosinophil cells per microliter)
• Moderate eosinophilia(1500-5000 eosinophil cells per microliter)
• Severe eosinophilia(>5000 eosinophil cells per microliter)

2) Here WBC count is 1.5 x 10^4/L=15 000 000m-39 (Indicates Low WBC count)
