1)Respiratory precautions

patient should remain at home in a separate room and wear a surgical mask when leaving the room. The patient should not travel, go to work, go to school, go shopping or participate in any other activity where there is contact with other people.These instructions should be until the patient is told by the health department that he/she no longer has to stay in isolation.
2. Compliance to DOTS

Most TB patients left treatment after feeling well after only a few weeks of treatment but the disease isnot cured. Rather.  It is dangerous to stop taking medicine early or being irregular aa you may become infectious and remain sick much longer so make sure that treatment is complete.
