Cognitive therapy is a kind of therapy which focuses on the present situation rather than digging into the past experiences. It focuses more on the present thinking, behaviour and communication. It is one of the best method used for the children as they are not much experienced as well as they will not be able to remember of what they have done mostly in the past and will not be able to think properly. Where as with cognitive thinking involving the present thinking it is very easy for the children to open up about their present mind status and that what are they thinking and want to do. Most likely, this method has been very effective as the children are more exposed about their thoughts and their behaviour to the psychiatrist and who helps them to identify their problems and their way of coping them.
