28. Quality control refers to the ability of the organization to control the quality of rhe services and promote better and effective care. Radiology department is usually comcerned with delivery and conduction of x rays for the patients. There are several aspects fo safety for both patient and the clinician that has to be controlled in this area of practice to enhance the quality of care. The individual experiencing radiological exposure needs to have proper assitance during the process and use of lead equipment to minimize the radiological exposure to normal cells. Also, the clinicians working in this setting needs to have proper protective equipment to have limited exposure to the radiowaves. This will help in providing better quality services and allow the organization to follow total quality management.
