  • It can improve the communication between the team at any time , even in the physical absence
  • Helps nurses to gain knowledge and practice in advanced manner to provide a quality care
  • The errors cam be reduced using the informatics
  • The work can be made quicker and easier
  • They can be protected in case of any legal issues arises in the future due to adequate documentation and storage for a longer time.
  • It can improve the functional ability of the nurses by minimizing time spent in others

The main ethical issues which can arise out of informatics ise in nursing are

  • There is always a problem when it comes to privacy and confidentiality issue if the nurse leaves the device access to others y accidental forgetting to log out after usage
  • Security is an issue because of the high end cyber crime rate
  • Content import technology can be an ethical issue
  • Needs training, time adjustment to use it efficiently or else errors can occur
  • Use in research purposes
