     Drops per min (gtt/min) = Volume(ml) / Time(min) * Drop factor(gtt/ml)

So

   Formula

            Time(min) = Volume(ml) / Drops per min * Drop factor.

   Here

     Volume(ml) = 1000 ml.

     Drops per min = 25 gtt/min.

       Drop factor = 10 gtt/ml.

As per above formula

          Time(min) = 1000 / 25 * 10

                            = 40 * 10

                            = 400 min.

                        a = 6 hr 40 min (400 min)
