Q) Which of the following blood vessels carries blood towards the heart?

ANS) Veins are the blood vessels which carry blood towards the heart.

The veins usually takes deoxygenated blood from group of cells(Tissues) towards the heart. But there are some exclusions and that are for the umbilical and pulmonary vein. These two veins usually takes oxygenated blood towards the heart. But arteries are the blood vessels which take blood out of the heart. The veins are not much muscly and are generally neat to the dermis. And for avoiding the backflow there are certain valves present on the veins.

Q) This is a process which remove unneeded clots when healing has occurred.Without this, blood vessels would gradually become completely blocked

ANS) Fibrinolysis

The Fibrinolysis is the method that avoids the blood clot from developing and being complicated. There are primary and secondary Fibrinolysis. The primary fibrinolysis is a usual body activity and the secondary fibrinolysis is a seizing up of the clots because of antibiotics,a disease etc..

In this process, the compound of coagulation called as fibrin clot is deteriorated. The enzyme called as plasmin breaks the fibrin at different regions, resulting in the making of flowing remnants which are cleaned by alternative proteases or with the help of liver.
