Entropy is the degree of disorderness or randomness of the system. The molar entropy refers to the entropy of one mole of substance in standard state.

So here :

a)

The molar mass of of hydrogen halides increase from left to right in the table , so does the molar entropy of these compounds.

This is because, higher the molar mass of the compound , more is the molar entropy.

b)

Same trend is observed in the case of nitrogen oxides also. Higher the molar mass of compounds , greater is the molar entropy. So molar entropy of the compounds increase from left to right as the molar mass increases.
