Chapter 6: The Politics of Public Opinion
Why should a poll be scientific rather than informal?
A scientific poll always establishes a proper relationship between the population and also the sample taken and it also defines the characteristics of the population and establishes a proper sampling method and statistical tools to analyse the data and come to a particular conclusion so that everything goes step by step and a proper result is established and on the other hand and informal method of all might not get you to reach the actual sample and it cannot portray the the whole population where the results can actually be biased etc and that is the reason why it can actually be mentioned that a fool should always be scientific and not an informal one.
