Which of the organic functional groups do you find the most interesting? Why? Which of them do expect to be most widely found in the world? Why?
I think carboxylic acid is the most intresting functional group and most widely present in the world.
It is very imporntant for the human life as well as other living organism. Many essential macro and micro nutrients like Fatty acids ,amino acids and may other acids made of carboxylic acids.
It is widely present in fatty acids, hydroxyl acid like lactic acid , keto acids and important metabolic products that exist in all living cells.
Hence we can say that carboxylic acid is a very important and mostly present organic functional group in the world.
Which of the organic functional groups do you find the most interesting? Why? Which of them...
In chemistry, what is meant by "organic"? Why do functional groups in molecules matter?
Why do you think that the functional groups of alcohols, thiols, and ethers are grouped together? Describe the types of intermolecular forces that you think affect the properties of alkanes and the other functional groups of organic compounds discussed in this chapter.
how do you find the functional groups for this IR spectrum result? this is for my organic chemistry lab.
1) List the most common organic functional groups that function as acids or bases. Write an equation of each with Hal or NaOH to show their behavior as acids or bases. (You will also enter these functional groups in the table in Question 2.) 2) Fill in the following table showing the general solubility behavior of the organic acids and bases you listed above. Assume that they are not small enough to have significant water solubility. Type of Organic Compound...
Why is memory in psychology so interesting? what do you find so interesting about the brain and how memory works?
"We now continue the introduction of organic chemistry roadmaps. Because of the many new functional groups that will be introduced in coming chapters, we recommend that you make a new roadmap to accommodate the reactions in Chapters 15–18.To make your own roadmap for Chapters 15–18, take a blank sheet of paper and write the following functional groups in the orientations shown. Fill the entire sheet of paper and leave plenty of room between functional groups. Most students find it helpful...
What period of history do you find most interesting? explain in few sentences.
How many functional groups do you need to consider to find the PI of the dipeptide lys-his?
What managerial accounting concept or procedure did you find most interesting? Most challenging? How do you see yourself using managerial accounting in the future?
What are some organic compounds present in your home or workplace? Find at least five examples and classify them into their functional groups. How do the functional groups help you to predict the properties of these compounds?
