If I would be victimized then I would definitely want that the offender or convicted person should be behind the prison. I want that law give him strict punishment to teach him a lesson and other offenders. Humanist perspective should be remain with you when the other person act like a human. I think it is not sensible to forgive any criminal person. It would encourage them to commit more crime because they will presum that they will not get any punishment next time also if they will do any crime. In order to reduce the crime rate in the society and to give justice to the victims it is necessary to give punishment to the convicted person. It will create a sense if fear in the mind of criminals and they will think 100 times before committing any crime.
