The quality of nonprofit school graduates is higher than the quality of graduates from schools with a profit motive.

Answer #1

Answer: Private organizations have no incentive to invest capital to start a new medical school.

Explanation:

When there is accreditation requirement that medical schools be not-for-profit, no financial incentive exists for private organizations to invest capital to start a new medical school by demonstrating that they could produce physicians at lower cost and of equal, if not higher quality, than many not-for-profit medical schools. Hence the likely consequence is only lack if incentive to invest capital. The consequence does not include higher quality of graduates in non-profit or difficulty in attracting faculty for for-profit medical schools.
