Crude death = (population of country * crude death rate)/1000

= (144 million * 18)/100 = 2.592 million

Infant mortality =( crude birth * infant mortality rate) /1000

= (6.192 million *100)/1000 = 0.6192 million

Change in population = crude birth - crude death - infant mortality

= 6.192-2.592-0.6192 = 2.9808 million

B. Population of country B = 82 million
