Answer #1

Solution : The given circuit is:

5krz 11 MAI 2K2} {aks I.

From the circuit , it is clear that all the elements are in parallel.

Since we've to find the current \large I_o in the 2 k Ohm resistor, so let this 2 ohm resistor as it is. And find the equivalent of the other two parallel resistors of2Ω & 5kΩ.

11MA D 32 ka 2K2 & 5kr & Io

So, the equivalent of   2Ω & 5kΩ will be:

X Req=5 NN = 1.43 k2 +

Final circuit diagram:

Rea = 1.43 kr 11 mA (1)

Now we can easily use current division rule.

According to Current division Rule:

Y I ER Y I ER I

The current in \large R_1 will be given by:

R2 11=1 Ri + R2

similarly

R1 12 = 1 Ri + R2

so , Using this rule we can find

\large I_o :

Since the direction of \large I_o is opposite to that we may find by current division rule,

so,

1.43 1. = -11 x 2 +1.43 => 1,= -4.59 mA .......... Answer
