Organizational change can produce anxiety in those affected by the change. In what ways can change be managed so that the anxiety can be reduced for those experiences change? please elaborate.
Organisational growth and change is a constant that will keep on happening.
What causes anxiety in the employees of the organisation is the uncertainty that is sometimes associated with the organisational change.
We have to understand that the employees have financial commitments that they have to meet and the uncertainty that whether the change will impact their capacity to earn, or not will tend to create anxiety issues in them. for such people if we have to lower their anxiety, there has to be clear communication on the status of their ability to earn, is it going to be impacted? If yes then by what quantum? Helping them understand these things and accordingly take appropriate actions will help reduce the anxiety levels.
There will be other types of employees too for whom financial impact may not be a concern as big as their position and power they hold. For such employees clearly discussing how the changes can possibly impact their way of working, if at all it impacts them should calm their unfound fears and reduce the anxiety levels.
