One of the most important things a manager should do is to think of continuous improvement. This needs not just the manager but also whoever is directly involved in the organization to think, analyze and evolve with new ideas that would help them excel in whatever they do. Thinking requires on to be open and crazy because only when one could think of wild ideas, it would differentiate them from others. Thinking along with others in brainstorming sessions require one to be more open to accept the ideas of others. Thinking is all about reflecting on the present work and making it better for future.

Intrinsic motivation refers to someone getting motivated on their own without any force from external elements while extrinsic motivation refers to someone getting motivated by others and not by oneself. Intrinsic motivation would help one succeed because one would do things not because of any external rewards but because one likes to do it and derive pleasure and satisfaction by doing it. Intrinsic motivation wouldn’t care about any recognition from others, instead one would motivate, appreciate and recognize oneself in order to do things better.
