The productivity is called ratio of output to input. It is described as effective use of resources. The four factors which can affect the productivity are capital, quality, technology, management.

• If we talk about the ways to improve the productivity then the company should set productivity measures for all the operations happening into the company.
• Further there are bottlenecks in the operations which reduces the productivity of the operation. So company should find out and remove those bottlenecks.
• The company can get ideas from workers and include the workers in decision making as well.
• Further the company can formulate a work team.
• The company can study its rival firms, how they are dealing and they can learn from them as well.
• The company can also Re-examine their working methods.
• It could establish some reasonable goals so that improvement could be done.
• The management should be very supportive.
• The improvement should be publicized.
• And last but not least the company should not be confused between productivity and efficiency. Productivity is a broader term than efficiency
