wavelength in air , lamda = 654 nm = 6.54 * 10^-7 m

a)

the frequency , f = c /lamda

f = 3 * 10^8 /(6.54 * 10^-7) Hz

f = 4.59 * 10^14 Hz

b)

index of refraction , n = 1.52

the wavelength of light , lamdag = lamaa /n

lamdag = 6.54 * 10^-7 /1.52 m = 4.3 * 10^-7 m

c)

the speed of light in glass , vg = f * lamdag

vg = 4.59 * 10^14 * 4.3 * 10^-7 m/s

vg = 1.97 * 10^8 m/s
