The strong peak around 3000 cm-1 is possibly due to C-H stretching vibrations of the alkyl groups present in the molecule. The C-H bending vibrations occur as bunch of peaks around 1300-1500 cm-1. The said region in the spectrum shows multiple peaks; hence, C-H groups are present in the molecule.

The strongest peak in the spectrum occurs around 1700 cm-1. The peak is sharp and corresponds to C=O vibrations of esters. The peaks around 1100-1200 cm-1 (including the strong vibration around 1200 cm-1) are due to C-O stretching of the ester group. Hence, the compound most likely contains an ester (-COOR) group where R denotes an alkyl group.
