The band at 2875 – 2988 cm-1 is for aliphatic CH stretching

The band at 3059 cm-1 is for aromatic CH stretching

The band at 3420 cm-1 is for hydroxyl group stretching

The band at 1720 cm-1 is for carbonyl group stretching

The band at 1612 cm-1 is C=C stretching

The band at 1478 cm-1 is for aromatic C=C stretching

The band at 1200 cm-1 is for C-O stretching
