IR analysis

the band at 3346 cm-1 is due to hydroxy group stretching

the band between 2874 - 2932 cm-1 is due to aliphatic CH stretching

the band at 1457 cm-1 is due to CH3 bending vibration

the band at 1148 cm-1 is due to C-O stretching

based on the above analysis the compound must be aliphatic alcohol
