a. The right ventricle is the lower of the four chambers of the heart. It pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs.

b. Pulmonary artery- begins from the base of the right ventricle. It gets divided into the left pulmonary artery and the right pulmonary artery. Both the right and left pulmonary arteries delivery deoxygenated blood to their respective lungs.

c. Pulmonary arteries divide into pulmonary capillaries within the walls of the small air passages and alveoli of the lungs.

d. The pulmonary veins carry oxygen-rich blood away from the lungs. They arise from lungs and drain their blood the left atrium of the heart.

e. The left atrium is the uppermost left chamber of the heart. It carries oxygenated blood from the lungs and acts as a pump to transport blood to other areas of the heart.
