1. The destruction of bacteria depends on both the Amount of energy and exposure time

(a)  Energy- With this data, we saw that the destruction of microbe depends on wavelength. There is a significant decrease in the microbial population as we decrease the wavelength from 365 to 254, and almost no microbial population remains at the wavelength of 254.

(b) With time the microbe population seems to increase, as they might develop resistance and start growing again.  

2. 254nm with 5min exposure time.
