Hypothesis for the lactose intolerance in human

Some humans are lactose intolerance because they lack the enzyme lactase , which break lactose into simpler monosaachride unit glucose and galactose.

Some enzymes are secreted into its inactive form and get active only when they are required because if they will remain always active they will digest their own cells and other enzymes. For example, pepsinogen is secreted in the inactive form because if it is secrered in active form , it will digest the mucosal lining of stomach and cause ulcer.
