This is basically a collection of essays. It talks about the connections between religion and culture. It also talks about various anthropological approaches. It also asks about everyday religious practices. Religion and culture are interconnected with each other.

Religious texts determines the behaviour of people in our surroundings. Religious matters help in shaping our eating habits. These practices becomes incorporated in our daily activities and also get involved in our daily routine.

These routines becomes part of our culture. It can be understood through an example. In Hindu families, being vegetarian is of utmost importance. Non violence is also an important component of Hinduism. These practices become obligatory and mandatory in daily practices.

Later on these practices become part of our daily routines. Our cognitive abilities may also be affected with our religion and culture. Our belief system shapes our behaviour.
