Answer #1

Here, Y(aggregate output) =1000, G=T=200 (Balanced budget) C=200+0.6Y, I=100

a:- ans Disposable income (Yd) =Y—T=1000—200=800

Aggregate Consumption =200+0.6(Y—T)=200+0.6*800

=200+480=680

Aggregate Saving = Yd—C=800—680=120

Aggregate expenditure =C+I+G =680+100+200=980

Unplanned inventory change =Y—(C+I+G) =1000 —980

20

b:-ans now aggregate output (Y) =1250

Disposable income (Yd) =Y—T=1250—200=1050

Aggregate Consumption =200+0.6(1250—200)

=200+0.6*1050=200+630=830

Aggregate Saving =Yd—C=1050 —830=220

Planned aggregate expenditure =C+I+G=830+100+200=1130

Unplanned Inventory Change =Y—(C+I+G) =1250—1130=120

C:-ANS b and C both are Same.
