Discuss the Resources to Support Learning. You will be use the standards and objectives of developing Language Across the Curriculum. Select four developmentally appropriate resources, per grade band, that will support each objective. One of the resources should be technology-based. Provide the following:

A rationale for each selected resource
How it supports developmentally appropriate practice
Possible challenges that may arise with each resource, and strategies to overcome those challenges.

Resources of learning are the means to develop learning process. It is used by teachers and students for effective learning. With the advancement of technology the resources of learning have been expanded and in the modernized institution they are used for attracting children. Almost all the resources are computer-based and they greatly help the students:

Google Apps: In the Google apps there are many programs that greatly help the children to be motivated. With the help of Google apps the teachers can attract the students synonyms and antonyms of words. These things are best illustrated there with pictures. Even here children can test their own creativity. They can use this to correct their usages and grammatical errors. Even such creativity can be presented in the class. There are numerous pictures on various subjects. The students can be asked to describe selected pictures. It develops their writing quality.

Tabloid: Tabloid is very attractive tools to the children. There are many inbuilt apps and they are shown with video clips. Such apps greatly help the children. They can run it. With the help of sharing system the teacher can impart knowledge to the students. The teacher can give different tasks to the students. Group activities can be done there very effectively.

Recording system with head phones: This very useful tool for developing pronunciation in the children. They greatly help the children to get active involved in conversation. Then with the help of computer they learn the right pronunciation. With head phone proper sound and accent reach to the child and they can differentiate their problems. They are asked to read a passage and with special software their pronunciation and intonation are tested.

Projector: It is very useful tool for teaching. Stories and songs are presented to the children. As video clips are presented with attractive pictures, the students are motivated to it. This system helps to teach a large number of children at a time. The students’ activity can be presented through projector and it motivates other to such activities.

Possible challenge: Such use of technology my cause much dependency on technology. They will be much mechanical. It may hamper their memory and vision. The teacher must make a balance there. In such case oral feedback and manual activities should be emphasized.
