[Ne] 3s13p6 => 17 electrons are present , here the general halogen configuration is ns2 np5 and on excitation it goes to the ns1 np6 => answer

[Ar] 4s2 3d2 4p4 => here the 3d orbital is not full filled and it is not valid

[Ar] 3d5 => here the after argon 4s will come and nt shown so not valid

[Kr] 5s2 4d10 5p5 => this is iodine ground state electronic configuration

answer => [Ne] 3s13p6
