How are the Baldrige principle evident in your work (the US Army)? Which ones are most prominent? Which are missing?
Baldrige principles involve innovation, integrity, customer focus, future vision and entrepreneurship among the other dimensions of quality. US army strives for innovation to become more accurate and efficient in its operation and managing work at different locations. The use of drones, advanced fighter jets and other innovative technologies by the US army is the example of use of Baldrige principle. Further, US army has the future vision towards the issues and challenges posed by the enemies or rivals in the future and accordingly, they modify and change themselves. Besides, it is the integrity to the US constitution for that they work and do not fear from any challenges while maintaining the full trust and integrity. By doing this, they also also show their societal responsibilities. It effectively integrates Baldrige principle in the work of US army.
The most prominent ones are the innovation, futuristic vision and integrity that are evidently exhibited by the US army. The changing pattern of warfare and not undermining the strengths of the rivals and enemies, US army keeps modernizing and upgrading itself to become ready and ahead of the peers.
Though there are attentions, given
on all the dimensions of the Baldrige principle, the less
attentions are given on entrepreneurship and societal
responsibilities as it is the US army that is well organized
institution and there is a less scope of taking risk as well as
scope of civilian casualties while pursuing military operations is
very high. So, these ones of less considered or missing in
