a)Two possible IoT deployment that can be developed for smart city are:-

1)Smart Parking System

• Intelligent parking solutions can be developed to identify when a vehicle has left the parking area
• The sensors present in the ground report via smartphone to the driver, where they can find a free parking space
• Other users can give vehicle feedback to tell precisely where the openings are and nudge waiting cars towards the path of least resistance
• Smart Parking is reality today and does not require complicated infrastructure and high investment making them ideal for a mid-size Smart City

2)Smart Infrastructure

• Smart Infrastucture System helps cities to create conditions for continuous development.Digital technologies are becoming increasingly important, urban infrastructures and buildings must be planned more efficiently and sustainably
• CO2 emissions should be kept as low as possible for example investing in electric cars and self-propelled vehicles
• Smart Infrastructure uses intelligent technologies to achieve an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly infrastructure
• Smart lighting can be created to give light when someone actually walks past them like setting brightness levels and tracking daily use to reduce the need of electrical power

b)Solution to monitor and tackle haze situation in future:-

• We can developed a IoT system which helps in capturing pollution data in real time and forecasts emissions
• It can forecasts up to 90% accuracy which can possibily gain the emissions for the next three to five days
• The system can predict the air pollution with the measurement of the effectiveness and the technologies that can be used to make the system unique
• The prediction is based on an algorithm that works with an artificial neural network
• The system can display real-time information on the air quality detected by sensors across a city and predicts values for the upcoming three to five days
• Cities can choose from 17 measures to simulate the next three to five days (effects of the air quality for the upcoming three to five days)

c)Two difference between active and passive transducer are:-

i)Active transducers do not required an external supply of power while the passive transducer requires an external energy source

ii)Output signal is produced by the signal which is to be measured in active transducer while in passive transducer,the output signal is obtained by receiving the signal from external source

Examples of active transducer are:-Thermocouple,Photovoltaic Cell etc.

Examples of passive transducer are:-Thermistor,Differential Transformer etc
