With the change in the marketing landscape we can say that businesses find it hard to be able to cope up with the change in the consumer behavior and what trends follow in the target market. This has lead to the rise for the need of opting towards a digital marketing landscape. This is what I prefer as a basic model for any business. The fact that a business needs to be able to connect with their customers and shape their interactions in a way that provides the best possible use of their resources can be considered as being the need of the current industries.
Having a skilled marketing department with trained personnel overlooking over its functioning is good but still problematic as traditional models of marketing fail to provide the reach, the medium, the platform and even the correct approach when we consider the overall impact it has over the business models and therefore digital/social media marketing is and would be the best form of marketing for the needs of any business be it an established MNC or even a startup.
