Strategic Management Process and formulation:

  1. The first component would be scanning the environment and then developing or formation of plan wherein the ideas are developed and finalized. Brain storming and other team efforts are made to come up with these ideas.
  2. Next step would be to communicate the plan clearly to the employees for them to understand what is the strategy of the organization and their role in achieving the same.
  3. The next step would be to implement the strategic plan which means working at the ground level with commitment and result orientation.
  4. The final step would be to evaluate or assist the plan in order to find out its efficiency and to check the progress.

The following are the roles and responsibilities of strategic leadership:

  1. One of the main roles the strategic manager is to analyze the business past, present and future, to check on the organization vision and mission and then frame strategies accordingly.
  2. Building long term strategy would be another important focus.
  3. Allocating resources and leadership team according to the strategies framed.
  4. Communicating and training effectively the framed strategies to the employees in the organization.
  5. Implementing and executing these strategies is another core role of strategic manager.

Strategy implementation evaluation criteria:

The following are the major key strategy evaluation criteria

  1. Suitability: The suitability determines on the sustainability of the company in the market with its economic development. The market analysis is determined with the suitability strategy, so that the customers and the environment could be understood easily to target and segment on the product and services.
  2. Feasibility: The feasibility determines on the implementing the strategy through the availabilities. The availabilities includes on the resources, time etc, so that the product and services can be developed.
  3. Acceptability: The acceptability is the outcome which determines on the risks, return etc, as where the customers plays a major role on analysis on the improvement strategy towards the product and services.

Change Management:

  1. The change process increases the competition in the market for the growth of the organization as where the company would develop unique product and services.
  2. The organization and individual change helps towards innovation and develop creative ideas for the growth of the project.
  3. The change helps to replace and challenge the employee’s behavior in the organization as that impact on the work performance of each individual.
  4. The customer always expect a quality, so the focus would be on the brand of the company due to new trends and lifestyle, so that it encourage the company to change on the product and services according to the market as that impact on the attitudinal change.
  5. The change encourages the individual towards self-independent, as where the obstacles can be removed towards self-improvisation on adapting to change.

Resistance to change:

  1. The culture in the organization embraces as it consisting on diversity, as where the employees carry different attitude and believes as difficult for involvement through their different views and ideas and they will not easily adapt towards change.
  2. Understanding on self-increases to create success on to achieve the vision and goal, so that helps to determine on the values and beliefs of an individual on towards the change. But it is difficult for employees to understand their self and that affect to accept the change in the organization.
  3. The employees will leave the organization as they will not be confident towards accepting the changes that the organization would set for.
  4. The employee skills and knowledge would be questioned, so that the employees get affected towards working with high end technologies and adapt towards change.

Minimise resistance to the change:

  1. The communication plays a major role towards change, as when the need is conveyed proper then there will not be any issues to handle the changes, the members would adapt towards the change.
  2. The cause of the change in the resistance needs to be identified and conveyed to the members, so their satisfaction towards the purpose of the change can make them to adapt to a new environment. A face to face communication would help the employees to understand the importance of change.
  3. The results and the outcome need to be discussed towards the change through email and formal meeting, so that it motivates the members to overcome on their problems towards the change as they will be open towards discussing the same.
