According to me, law in our country protects employees from employers discriminatory behavior like firing someone because she is old aged or not giving chance to female employee based on their gender. All these and many more events we can see on news, online etc. You can say thay of these discrimination are considered illegal then they are unethical as well.

But for me., Any kind of discrimination basednon even weight, height, attractiveness etc is unethical too even it is not given under law. Ethics means taking decisions which are fair, right and does not harm others but if we discriminate an employee which is not attractive to look and fire him then it would emotionally and financially harm that employee. It is possible that such bhevaior can lead to depression or suicidal events.

For example if a am short on height but my job has no relationship with my heigjt and employer fire me because i am short then it is not ethical because if my height has nothing to do with my job performance then they should not take such decisions.

All j can say that employer should take decisions based on ethical values like honesty, fitness, truth and only recruit or fire if factors are not suitable for job. Like employer may take decision thay female employee is not required for heavy lifting jobs like in factory.

In conclusion, decisions should be such which does not harm others but follow ethical and legal principles.
