Cost of overhaul = $0.17 per CY.Station

Economical Overhaul Distance = Cost of excavation/Cost of Overhaul = 1.60/0.17 = 9.4117 stations = 941.17 ft

Free-haul Distance = 1500 ft

Limit of Economical Haul = Free-haul Distance + Economical Overhaul Distance = 1500 + 941.17 = 2441.17 ft
