Answer #1

In a kid, there are different types of fracture that can take place. If the fracture takes place only at one side of the bone, it is called greenstick fracture. Second type of fracture is an outward bend that takes place on one side of the bone and does not end up breaking the other side of the bone. The growth plate fracture is a bone fracture that takes place in the kids growing bone. The avulsion fracture is something that is caused due to ligament pull. The stress fracture is due to tiny crack and the comminuted fracture is a bone fracture that breaks the bone into more than two pieces.

The broken bone or fracture can be treated with a process of casting, splicing or bracing which helps in setting the bone by reduced movement. The closed reduction is something where the surgeon moves the bone towards the right position and the open reduction is where it is operated using minor surgery.
