Answer #1

1a. Water freezes at 32o F = 0o C

1b. Water boils at 212o F = 100o C

2. Human body temperature 98oF

So human body temperature in Celsius scale =

OC = (oF - 32o)/1.8 = (98-32)/1.8 = 66/1.8 = 36.67oC

Therefore human body temperature in Celsius scale is 36.67oC

3. Room temperature = 22o C

Surface of your skin = 24oC

Cold tap water in a 50ml beaker = 21oC

Hot tap water in a 50ml beaker = 25oC

Ice water = 5oC
