Question

Pre-lab 1) Read the following and complete the tables. LIQUID AND SOLİ DVOLUME TRANSFORMATIONS One of the beauties of the metric system is in the fact that it was constructed so that one milliliter (ml) is defined as the same volume as one cubic centimeter (cm3 or c.c.) The metric system also works beautifully with the most common solvent in the world: water. The freezing and boiling temperatures of pure water, and the relationship between weight and volume of water were considered when aspects of the metric system were developed. Answer #1

According to the information provided, 1ml=1cc ; ie, volume of submerged solid=volume of liquid displaced.

So the answers for Solid Volume Equivalent will be :

63.5ml = 63.5cc

0.01ml = 0.01cc

0.5L = 500ml = 500cc

0.25µl = 0.025ml = 0.025cc
