Answer #1

Answer :

Given that :

no.of blacks = 13

no.of whites = 4

Total no.of children = 13 + 4 = 17

Hetrozygous = Bb

Now do cross between two blackdog

Bb * Bb

B b
B BB Bb
b Bb bb

a)We need to find the possible combinations for black ad white children :

i.e 17C13 * 1704

= 2380 * 2380

= 5664400

Therefore,

No.of possibilities for 13 black and 4 white appear in order = 5664400

b)Here the probability that 13 black and 4 white appear in order is as follows :

P = 2! * 31 * 4! * 5664400

= 2 * 6 * 24 * 5664400

= 1631347200

    Please show how to do that with type. Thank you. Section One: Population Genetics Biologists define evolution as changes in the frequency of genes in a population's gene pool through time. Reduced to fundamentals, that is what evolution is! Just as a canyon is the sum total of all the small buckets of dirt eroded away by a river, so organic evolution is the accumulated change in genes that carry the instructions for building organisms. To work with evolution, we...

I want to double check my work and answers . thanks (1) One of the standard techniques to determine whether two loci are physically close to one another on the same chromosome is to conduct a "dihybrid cross", a cross of two individuals that are heterozygous at both loci.
