Answer #1

here,

C1 = C2 = C3 = C4 = C = 4.4 uF

Vab = 29 B

C1 and C2 are in series, their equivalent capacitance , C5 = C/2 = 2.2 uF

C3 and C5 are in parallel,their equivalent capacitance , C6 = C3 + C5 = 6.6 uF

C6 and C4 are in series , the equivalent capacitance , Ceq = C6 * C4 /( C6 + C4)

Ceq = 6.6 * 4.4 /( 4.4 + 6.6) = 2.64 uF

the charge on capacitor C4 , Q4 = Ceq * V

Q4 = 76.56 uC

the potential difference across C4 , V4 = Q4/C4 = 17.4 V

the voltage across C3 , V3 = Vab - V4 = 11.6 V

the charge across C3 , Q3 = C3 * V3 = 51.04 uC

the charge across C1 and C2 , Q1 = Q2 = V3 * C5

Q1 = Q2 = 25.5 uC

the potential difference across C1 , V1 = Q1/C1 = 5.8 V

the potential difference across C2 , V2 = Q2/C2 = 5.8 V

a)

Q1 = 25.5 uC

b)

V1 = 5.8 V

c)

Q2 = 25.5 uC

d)

V2 = 5.8 V

e)

Q3 = 51.04 uC

f)

V3 = 11.6 V

g)

Q4 = 76.56 uC

h)

V4 = 17.4 V

i)

Vad = Vab - V4 = 11.6 V
