I very foolishly got in a fight with Big Joe during our last basketball game. He casually broke my finger in 11 places. The plastic surgeon I’ve consulted to try to avoid losing the finger tells me I have 2 possibilities for saving my finger. The odds ratio for saving my finger under the first treatment is 1.19 with a 95% confidence interval of (1.04 to 1.36)); the odds ratio for saving my finger under the second treatment is 1.3 with a 95% confidence interval of (.94 to 1.47. Which treatment should I choose and why?

since 1st treament with confidence interval of (1.04 to 1.36 ) has all values above 1 , therefore this treatment appear to be effective at 955 confidence level and hence first treatment must be chosen
