The needle of a galvanometer goes to its maximum when a current of 100 µA flows....

The needle of a galvanometer goes to its maximum when a current of 100 µA flows. The voltage drop through the Galvanometer is 100 mV.

a) Provide the inner resistance of the Galvanometer

b) Suppose you want to transform the device into an Ammeter with which you can read currents up to 100mA. Show that you need to place an Ohms resistor parallel to the device, how large does this resistor have to be?
