yes, it is true. Because the DNA fingerprinting used to find any suspect person by just comparing the available person sample to whome we are looking for.

in this method the DNA sample is taken from the reference person and suspected persons and run on agarose gel if the two samples have minimum similarity (it is identified by minisatellite sequence which is differ from person to person) these are the unique foot prints of any person. The rare case is homozygotic twins- they have similar (100%) in sequence. It is just like a thumb prints and desided by birth.
