Disparities in healthcare can be due to different reasons and varies in different countries. For example in US Healthcare disparities exists between racial or ethnic minority communities.In other countries it can be present due to poor socio-economic condition.
Healthcare disparities should be a matter of concern for health care managers because this disparity fails to meet the overall objective of providing good health and improve the healthcare facilities in general for the broader human population.Disparities exists between the black and Latino population groups in health insurance coverage.There are diseases like HIV Aids and many other deadly infectious diseases which needs to be treated and be removed completely from human population irrespective of caste, color or any other discrimination that is considered to widen the healthcare disparity.
To overcome this problem one needs to become more patient-centric while treating the disease. Efforts should be taken by health care managers or providers to see to it that every patient is cared and treated because this is the basic right of an individual.
